There's a reason why The Restoration Company's finished projects last so long. They had plenty of practice. It all began in 1991, when Bill Nieder, a Bay Area native, started the company. After working for a Civilian Contracting firm as a flight-deck installer on aircraft carriers and later for a large Waterproofing outfit in Marin County, he had learned the ins and outs of the trade. Finally, he was ready to start his own business and planned to provide much-needed waterproofing services for San Francisco Bay homeowners and General Contractors alike.

Today the company continues to practice solid surface preparation techniques and waterproof system installations. This expertise fills the Bay Area homeowner, multi-unit apartment manager, and general building contractor requirements to protect properties from water penetration.

We seek out the best waterproofing products available through active attendance of trade shows and in-depth product seminars and relentlessly continue to strive for excellence on all our projects.
